Colour pencil animal study of a horse's eye. This was my first attempt at using colour pencils, a bit more tricky than graphite, but still really fun. I used solvents to help blend the first layer of pencil, this was my first attempt at using this technique so some time was spent testing which house hold product would work best. In the end I used 70% rubbing alcohol in very small amounts. I used Faber-Castell Polychromos Colour Pencils, 2h graphite pencil for the sketch, a kneaded eraser and a tombow mono zero eraser
